Tuition Mission Foundation announces 2026 - 2027 scholarships

EAST LIVERPOOL — Tri-State Area Tuition Mission Foundation (TMF) President Jackman S. Vodrey has announced the 2026 – 2027 tuition awards. TMF is awarding $181,000 to 22 area students. The top award was $10,000, which 12 of the 22 recipients were awarded. TMF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation which was launched in 1962 as the Tri-State Area Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation. YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Playhouse has announced auditions for the first youth production of the upcoming 102nd Season - The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon! (one-act) by Don Zolidis. COLUMBIANA — City Council heard from one concerned resident during a public hearing for a rezone of annexed property last week. The hearing was held for the rezone of the 6.279 acres of property the city is annexing from Unity Township on behalf of Lakefront Preserve LLC, a local real estate holding and property development company.
