Riverview Cemetery launches an official Facebook group East Liverpool’s Riverview Cemetery now has an official presence online via Facebook. Riverview Cemetery Association (RCA) officers Stephanie Grey (president), Jayma Wilson (vice president) and Catherine Vodrey (secretary) decided recently against re-launching the former Riverview website, as Facebook is cost-free and has a built-in audience. Grand Jury LISBON — A man accused of trafficking and possessing cocaine was served Thursday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury. CC Department of Job and Family Services releases annual report

LISBON — The Columbiana County Department of Job and Family Services released its 2025 annual report this week, sharing the stats that demonstrate the services provided in areas that include adult and child protective services, public assistance, senior services, and child support enforcement. Child support enforcement managed 7,297 cases in 2025, with 74.94 % of all current child support cases meeting their monthly obligation. Man charged with sex crimes to face trial Feb. 9

LISBON — A man accused of engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old child earlier this year is scheduled to face a jury trial on Feb. 9 in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court. Wayne R. Tate, 51, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, appeared Friday for a pretrial before Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Bickerton, accompanied by defense attorney James Melfi, who was there on behalf of Tate’s defense attorney David Betras. Cutrona’s proposed bill to ensure Flock cameras data is used properly

With the use of Flock Safety automated license plate reader cameras coming under scrutiny, state Sen. Al Cutrona said he plans to introduce legislation to ensure information they collect is used appropriately. Cutrona, R-Canfield, said: “Ensuring that the rights and privacy of citizens is upheld is the default standard in a government that is of, by and for the people.
