CANFIELD (WKBN) – Three juvenile males from Warren have been taken into custody following a shooting incident that happened near the Canfield Fairgrounds on Fairground Boulevard Sunday night. Canfield Police Chief Chuck Colucci says the search for the juveniles involved was comprehensive, involving 15 Canfield officers, 20 sheriff deputies and several K-9 units. “With the drones, all the police officers and the canines, we did segment off all different areas, and then we expanded the boundaries as far as we possibly could,” Colucci said. “We also reached out to hospitals, ...

Starting Sept. 21, U.S. Route 30 will close at the state Route 11/U.S. Route 30 interchange in West Point for 45 days. The closure includes the section of U.S. Route 30 from state Route 45 to the state Route 11 northbound on- and off-ramps. Additionally, the ramp from state Route 11 to U.S. Route 30 and the eastbound U.S. Route 30 ramp will close as part of this phase of the project.
