Columbiana officials still working on design for new city hall

COLUMBIANA — City officials are still working on the design for the new City Hall building. During the July City Council meeting City Manager Lance Willard said they met with Strollo Architects and Howells and Baird Engineering to go over several revisions on the design. “We hope to hear back from environmental planning and design soon so we can get the new zoning district proposal on its way,” he said. Wellsville Board of Education approves new communication software

WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville school board Monday approved new software to communicate with parents. The board approved the use of Parent Square as the district’s new communication software. Parent Square will be used during the 2026-2027 school year by all district staff members to communicate with parents. Not guilty pleas entered in cases involving sexual conduct with minors

LISBON — A Leetonia man accused of allegedly having sexual contact with a 5-year-old child entered a not guilty plea during arraignment Thursday. Scott E. Arter, 61, Leetonia Road, was charged with gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony, for allegedly having sexual contact with the child victim on Aug. 24, 2025. Engineer's office to apply for funds for slip repair along Steubenville Pike Road
