GOSHEN TOWNSHIP — The board of trustees approved two quotes for repairs to the township’s salt storage building in a special meeting Thursday. The trustees voted unanimously to approve an $8,600 quote from Wecover Building Systems for repairs to the roof of the township’s salt storage building, which was damaged during severe storms on July 3. Bat tests positive for rabies in Mahoning County

YOUNGSTOWN — On July 22, an Ohio Department of Health Laboratory report confirmed a bat testing positive for the rabies virus. The bat was collected by Mahoning County Public Health and was submitted to the ODH lab.
