CCCTC automotive addition scheduled for completion Dec. 8

LISBON — The new automotive addition at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 8. The CCCTC board of education was given an update on the project from the architect and contractor during the September meeting. The Stitle Construction Company was previously awarded the contract for the $6.5 million project and Strollo Architects is responsible for the design. LISBON — The Columbiana County Port Authority Board made several moves Monday related to the proposed 85-acre East Palestine industrial park off of state Route 14 and Howell Road in Unity Township, including actions needed to purchase the land. First, the board approved a resolution accepting the assignment and assumption of the purchase option agreement from the East Palestine Community Improvement Corporation. BELOIT — The West Branch Local School District reviewed its annual state report card during the school board’s September meeting. West Branch received an overall rating of four and a half stars, maintaining the same overall rating as last year.
