New Waterford to sell its ambulances
NEW WATERFORD — The village has decided to sell its two ambulances. Council this month approved a motion to put the ambulances up for sale by sealed bid. Village Mayor Shane Patrone said the ambulances were originally purchased from funds used for Fire and EMS and therefore any money received from their sale will go back into those funds. The ambulances are no longer needed due to the village halting its EMS services for now due to lack of funding and manpower.
