East Palestine Town & Country Garden Club holds August meeting

EAST PALESTINE – The August meeting of the East Palestine Town & Country Club was called to order by first welcoming all who were present. A prayer was said and members invited to enjoy the snack which was prepared by Lyddy Jones, Judy Howard and Mary Anne Tyger. Next everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. Attendance was called with members to respond with their favorite summer drink or treat. Secretary Bonnie Davis read the minutes with corrections made, seconded, and approved. Public ceremony to commemorate the completion of renovations at the Broadway Exchange

SALEM — A public ceremony will be held Saturday to commemorate the completion of renovations at a downtown business. The Columbiana County Port Authority and the Sustainable Opportunity Development (SOD) Center are inviting “community members, business leaders, elected officials, and local partners” to celebrate the completion of a private building rehabilitation project downtown at 9:30 a.m. at the Broadway Exchange, 165 S. Knox School closed for threat investigation; arrest made

BELOIT (WKBN)- Matthew T. Manley, the superintendent of West Branch Local Schools, announced that the Knox School was closed on Wednesday due to a threat investigation. Manley said he was contacted on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and asked to report a threat to the Sebring Police Department that involved the Knox school building, the home of the West Branch Preschool, Small Wonders Daycare, and classrooms of Columbiana County ESC students.
