Knox School closed for threat investigation; arrest made

BELOIT (WKBN) – The Knox school building will remain closed today due to a threat investigation, according to the West Branch School superintendent’s message to parents. Manley said he was contacted on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and asked to report a threat to the Sebring Police Department that involved the Knox school building, the home of the West Branch Preschool, Small Wonders Daycare, and classrooms of Columbiana County ESC students. Public ceremony to commemorate the completion of renovations at the Broadway Exchange

SALEM — A public ceremony will be held Saturday to commemorate the completion of renovations at a downtown business. The Columbiana County Port Authority and the Sustainable Opportunity Development (SOD) Center are inviting “community members, business leaders, elected officials, and local partners” to celebrate the completion of a private building rehabilitation project downtown at 9:30 a.m. at the Broadway Exchange, 165 S.
