Erin Haynes, who serves as Principal Investigator of the East Palestine Train Derailment Health Research Program, visited Village Council in recent weeks to go over the program. COLUMBIANA — The city is looking for a new member to serve on the Board of Zoning Appeals. City Manager Lance Willard said the vacant seat is the result of the resignation of Jack Sutherin, whose term does not expire until the end of 2027. Liverpool Township trustees approve annual forestry mutual aid agreement

LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — Trustees approved and signed the annual forestry mutual aid agreement with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). Trustees Tuesday approved the Cooperative Agreement for Wildland Fire Suppression Within the Report Payment Areas agreement with the ODNR’s Division of Forestry. The agreement is for Liverpool Township Volunteer Fire Department and other fire departments in the area to respond to and provide mutual aid for wildfires in their jurisdiction and provide a firefighter to function as a liaison between the department and the Division of Forestry. ...
