Lisbon woman indicted for Sebring stabbing
YOUNGSTOWN — A Lisbon woman charged with stabbing a man in Sebring was among about a dozen people indicted last week by a Mahoning County grand jury.
Ashley Hill-Birkhimer, 31, was indicted on a charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony, after she was arrested in early February at a home in the 700 block of Lake Park Boulevard. Reports state police were called for a stabbing, and when they arrived, they found a man bleeding from a deep puncture wound to the arm.
A witness told police he was in the kitchen talking to another man when Hill-Birkhimer came in saying “crazy stuff,” took a knife from the victim and stabbed him in the arm as they wrestled on the kitchen floor. The witness disarmed her and then grabbed some towels to stop the bleeding, reports stated.
