Grace Church to install pastor on April 26
Rev. Dr. William Ronald “Ron” Toliver
COLUMBIANA — Grace Church of Columbiana will celebrate a significant moment in its congregational life with the installation of the Rev. Dr. William Ronald “Ron” Toliver as pastor on Sunday, April 26, at 10 a.m. The service will be held in the church sanctuary and is open to the public.
The installation will be led by The Rev. Dr. Gerry Brannon Krupp, executive director of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. Krupp will preach and preside over the formal act of installation, offering a pastoral charge to both the congregation and its new minister.
“Grace Church has a long and faithful history in Columbiana,” Krupp said. “This installation marks the beginning of a new chapter of ministry, and I am honored to share in this moment with them.”
Toliver, a seasoned pastor and theologian, began serving Grace Church earlier this year. He brings more than three decades of ministry experience, known for his compassionate leadership, thoughtful preaching, and commitment to community engagement.
“I am grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received,” Toliver said. “Grace Church is a congregation with deep roots and a generous spirit. I look forward to walking with them as we continue to serve Christ and our community.”
A reception will follow the service in the church’s fellowship hall. Grace Church of Columbiana is located at 140 S. Main St.
