EAST LIVERPOOL – East Liverpool City Schools recently hosted an Outcomes and Options Informational Event at the Alumni Clock Tower, bringing together students, families, staff and community partners to explore valuable post-secondary resources and support services.

The event featured informative presentations and resource tables designed to help families better understand opportunities available to students as they prepare for life beyond high school. Students in attendance included Cara Fike, Alica Gault, Colton Hooker, Hailee Joy, John Cianni, Noah Morris, Madalyn Posey, Robert Quimby, Dominic Rich, Nevin Shafer, and Wyatt Willmaser.

Guest speakers included Janine Martindale of Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), representatives from Employment Development, Inc., and Marcy Higgins from the Columbiana County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Attendees enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere with refreshments, door prizes, and opportunities to connect directly with local agencies and support organizations.

Community partners and ELCSD staff provided donations, including gift baskets provided by AutoZone, Giant Eagle, Willis Bruster, Rochelle Cady and Brittany Johnson.

Special recognition is also given to the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association volunteers for their behind-the-scenes coordination.

The district recognized its Job Training “Dream Team” — Rochelle Cady, Pam Hill, Brittany Johnson and Baney Willis — for its leadership and commitment, as well as Potter families for their continued support and engagement.

Starting at $2.99/week.
