Banquet in Salem
The Dine in or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building will be sponsored by Melvin and Virginia Wilms and Family. The menu will include meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit and cookies. Dine in will park in designated area behind the building and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. Boyce Church guest speaker
Boyce Church on Anna Avenue will host guest speaker Josh Lytle, founder of Freedom Home in Chester, at its men’s breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday. All men are welcome.
Monthly cooking club
The Upper Ohio Valley Museum and Learning Center at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame will host its monthly cooking club Tuesday at 6 p.m. This month’s theme is “Blast From the Past.” Bring your mom’s or grandmother’s best dish and share it with the rest of the group. America 250 workshop
The Upper Ohio Valley Museum and Learning Center at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame will host an America 250 workshop for students Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon. Workshop includes a colonial lesson, craft, game and snack. Admission is free thanks to Hancock County Bank sponsoring the event. For information contact the museum at 330-386-5443.
Free Celebrating Seniors Lunch
First Presbyterian Church, 28 E. Park Ave., Columbiana, is hosting a free Celebrating Seniors Lunch from noon to 2 p.m. April 23. The luncheon will feature a hot dog bar. The presentation will be by Our Farm Skin Care. Cathi RaubCarney will discuss her Organic and Holistic Skin Care, and her products will be available for purchase.
