The St. Clair Township Board of Trustees have called a special board meeting for 9 a.m. Saturday at the township government building to do a final review of the “Resolution of Necessity Requesting the County Auditor to certify tax valuation information in anticipation of levying a tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation.” The trustees are clarifying the proposed tax is to be levied in tax year 2026 and first collected in calendar year 2027.
