The Wellsville Carnegie Public Library is holding a quilt raffle to raise money for the library’s programs. The proceeds from the raffle of the twin size quilt donated by Diane Johnson, a friend of the library’s, will benefit the Friends of the Wellsville Carnegie Public Library and be used to support the programs offered by the library for children and adults. According to Christina Kimble, outreach coordinator, the funds from the Friends of the Library go toward support things like the upcoming Halloween party, snacks for children, Summer Reading Program, Fall Story Time, snacks for children with dietary issues and any other program sourced to the library. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the library, 115 9th St., Wellsville, up to the day of the drawing. The drawing will be held on Dec. 12. (Submitted photo)
