Lepper Library closed for staff in-service

The Lepper Library will be closed on Monday for staff in-service. Remember you can always use our digital services on our website. Weekly storytimes resume on Tuesdays at 10 and 11 a.m. Moving and Grooving Tuesdays at 10 a.m. This storytime is geared towards babies and toddlers. Come sing songs, listen to a story, and play. Older siblings are welcome to join in also. Preschool Story Hour Tuesdays at 11 a.m. We will sing songs, listen to stories, and make crafts. Stay and play after the program. Geared towards children 3-5 but younger and older siblings are welcome. Storytimes brought in part by the Ohio Arts Council.

Trinity UMC rummage sale

Trinity United Methodist Church, 2427 Columbiana Road, New Springfield will hold a rummage sale on Oct. 17 & Oct. 18. Hours Oct. 17 are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Oct. 18 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Oct. 18 is half price from 9 a.m. – noon and fill a bag for $1.00 from noon – 2 p.m. There is clothing, household item, Christmas, furniture and much more.

Public Employees Retirees will meet

LISBON –The bi-monthly meeting of the Public Employees Retirees of Columbiana County will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church 225E Washington St. Information will include the upcoming Medicare open enrolment period through VIA benefits; a discussion of dental and eye care coverage offered by OPERS; and planning for 2026 programming. All OPERS retirees are invited to attend.

Greenway Trail culvert repairs scheduled

Starting Monday at 7 a.m. until further notice there will be culvert repairs on the Greenway Trail with closures. Those using the trail can get on at the Lisbon Trailhead and ride up to mile marker 5 or start in Leetonia and ride down to mile marker 5.5.

Grace Presbyterian renovated sanctuary

EAST LIVERPOOL –Grace Presbyterian Church will be rededicating its renovated sanctuary at 5 p.m. Sunday. Last winter the church experienced water damage due to a radiator issue. Everything has been cleaned and replaced. The service will be followed by refreshments and fellowship downstairs. The is located at 533 Virginia Ave. on the east end of East Liverpool.
