Wampum Chapter, North Country Trail Association will host a New Year’s Day hike at 9 a.m., meeting at 3403 Old Darlington Road, Darlington, Pa., and heading west to Louthan Road before heading back. This is roughly 5.5 miles total and is not considered to be a beginner’s hike, mostly due to the steep hill at the start of the route. Wear appropriate footwear and bring some water.
