Paradise Church festival
Paradise Church, 10020 New Buffalo Road, Canfield (Beaver Township), will host a lawn festival from 4 to 7 p.m. July 20. There will be food available and a Country Store (all donations to the church’s mission Neighbors in Need). The event will also feature an Invitational Car Show during the festival.
Pretty Boy Floyd hike
Wampum Chapter, North Country Trail Association will host a Pretty Boy Floyd hike at 10 a.m. July 21 at the Beaver Creek State Park North Country Trail, taking a small detour to where Pretty Boy Floyd met his demise in 1934. The hike is around three miles with some small hills and rocky path. After completing the hike participants can enjoy cookies and lemonade. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather and trail conditions. Community breakfast
Damascus Methodist and Middle Sandy Presbyterian churches will host their monthly community breakfast from 7 to 10:30 a.m. July 20 at the Damascus church, 300 Valley Road. The breakfast features all-you-can-eat, made to order, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, juice and coffee for a donation. The breakfast proceeds will benefit the 2025 Summer Mission Trip.
Food distribution July 25
Columbiana Way Station, 769 Springfield Road will hold a food distribution from 9 to 11 a.m. July 25. Participants must live within 15 miles of the Way Station location. Participants should bring a photo ID, bags, and/or boxes.
