ELCH named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals by Fortune and Premier’s PINC AI
EAST LIVERPOOL – East Liverpool City Hospital, member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, once again ranks as one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals according to an independent quality analysis provided by PINC AI, the technology and services brand of Premier Inc., and reported by Fortune.
East Liverpool City Hospital has earned the “100 Top Hospitals” for the seventh consecutive year (2018-2024). This achievement, along with East Liverpool City Hospitals accomplishments as a Leapfrog safety grade of “A” from 2018 to 2024 and being the only hospital in the region to receive the Grade A award reflects East Liverpool City Hospital’s commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care. They also received the Patient Safety Excellence Award for the seventh time (2018-2024) and being among the top 5% in the nation. In August, East Liverpool City Hospital was awarded the only five-star hospital award, from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in the Ohio Valley, consisting of Columbiana, Jefferson, Harrison, and Belmont counties in Ohio and Marshall, Brooke, Hancock and Ohio counties in West Virginia.
Interim president and CEO of East Liverpool City Hospital, Stephanie Conn stated, “We are honored to receive this prestigious award once again for the seventh time. East Liverpool City Hospital has cultivated an outstanding culture that prioritizes the well-being of patients and staff, setting a high standard for exceptional patient safety. The 100 Top Hospital award demonstrates the utmost level of commitment from our diligent team who focus on providing the safest, highest quality of health care.”
To create the list, an objective, quantitative analysis of publicly available data was conducted to identify the top hospitals in the United States. The primary purpose of the PINC AI 100 Top Hospitals program is to inspire hospital and health system leaders to pursue higher performance and deliver added value to patients and communities. Organizations do not apply to participate in the study, and award recipients do not pay to market their honor.
