United Local Schools National Honor Society welcomes 29 new members

HANOVERTON – United Local Schools National Honor Society (NHS) welcomed 29 new members along with their 23 current senior members at its Induction Ceremony March 11.

To qualify for NHS, students must meet certain academic criteria and display characteristics of the four pillars of NHS, which include: character, leadership, scholarship and service. This group is led by advisor Danielle Burch, a teacher at United Local Schools. Several senior members participated in this ceremony with the lighting of candles to explain about the four pillars of NHS.

Current senior members are Olivia Ashburn, Sydney Billy, Keira Bryan, Paige Burcham, Sidney Casto, Maggie Cope, Aurianna Cusick, Emerson Davis, Luke Hull, Allison Irwin, Adelyn Johnson, Sophia Johnston, Abigail Jones, Karleigh Kooser, Emma Murphy, Lauren Painter, Daniel Readshaw, Ricky Salmen, Nathaniel Satterfield, Kadin Schonauer, Jayden Stoffer, Marin Stryffeler, and Wyatt Swanson.

The new inductees are Chloe Angelo, Sophie Battaglini, Paul Blass, Atlee Brinker, Tessa Clunen, Gavin Coffee, Isaiah Conway, Amelia Cusick, Jacob DiLeo, Kendall Erb, Zachary Graffius, Audra Hall, Lukas Hamilton, M’Kyan Haynes, Brinsley Hiscox, Delaney Jones, Jordan Kidder, Ethan Logan, Levi Lucas, Ines Martin Vilela Rego, Ava McCracken, Brynn Medure, Caroline Moser, Megan Short, Baylee Smith, Abigail Stout, Carson Sturgeon, Rhianna Weber, and Katherine Wolfgang.
