LISBON — A Salineville man is facing a string of shoplifting charges in Columbiana County Municipal Court. A pretrial/preliminary hearing was set Dec. 11 for Anthony Greathouse, 35, Lewis Road, charged with two counts felony-five theft, felony-five obstructing justice, misdemeanor obstructing justice, resisting arrest and two counts possession of a drug abuse instrument. Greathouse allegedly left Busy Beaver without paying for a cart full of tools worth $1,176 on July 27 and did the same at Walmart with $703 worth of merchandise on July 14 and $796 on July 17. Officers attempted to make contact with Greathouse in Salineville on Aug. 13 but he fled on foot and eluded capture. Law enforcement attempted to take Greathouse into custody at a Hammondsville residence on Aug. 28 but he fled on foot across Yellow Creek. In June of 2024, Greathouse was arrested after attempting to shoplift from Walmart and was found with two hypodermic needles in his possession.
Gwen A. Thomas, 50, Mills Circle, Alliance, was fined $150 and sentenced to two years of probation, 20 hours of community service and 30 days in jail with 29 suspended and credit for one day served for disorderly conduct. Thomas was intoxicated when officers were called to a Homeworth Road home to remove her from the premises on Sept. 6.
Jacob Dylan Smith, 23, Poland, was fined $100 for speed.
A pretrial hearing was set March 10 for Augustina Marie Newman, 52, Cleveland, charged with OVI and required lights.
Charles Jackson, 71, Millmont, Pa., was fined $750 for engaging in position and possessing criminal tools. Millmont agreed to exchange $100 for sexual activity with an undercover agent via his cell phone and traveled to Unity Township to do so on Sept. 5.
A pretrial hearing was set Dec. 16 for Timothy G. Thrasher, 29, Lincoln Avenue, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence and resisting arrest. Thrasher allegedly threw several items at a female occupant of his residence on Aug. 31. Thrasher reportedly refused to talk to officers at the scene and tried to walk back into the home and was taken to the ground by officers who later tased Thrasher.
William J. Kundinger, 57, Freeland, Mich, was fined $1,500 for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Kundinger agreed to exchange $120 for sexual activity with an undercover agent via his cell phone and traveled to Salem to do so on June 13.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 18 for Richard F. Hill, 76, Center Street, Leetonia, charged with OVI, OVI second offense and reasonable control.
A pretrial hearing was set March 10 for Dyan M. Baker, 25, Chippewa Trail, Negley, charged with driving under suspension.
Courtney Michelle Leasure, 36, Warren, was fined $50 for reasonable control and marked lanes, amended from OVI. She was also sentenced to nine days in jail with 87 suspended and credit for three served, two years of probation, and driver’s intervention classes.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 17 for Deborah L. Willimet, Fredericktown Clarkson Road, Negley, charged with OVI and reasonable control.
Dawn Angle White, Ellwood City, Pa, was fined $75 for a junk car violation in the village of East Palestine.
A charge of driving under suspension was dismissed against Deborah Sue Wilkinson, 61, Sprucevale Road, Columbiana.
A pretrial was set Feb. 25 for Brittini Kynn Duris, 34, Pauls Lane, East Liverpool, charged with theft. Duris allegedly concealed Halloween decorations in her bag at the Dollar Store in East Liverpool and left without paying for the items.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 17 for William Pla, 56, Austintown, charged with reasonable control.
A pretrial hearing was set for Tony Hilton, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, charged with deposit of litter, garbage, trash or junk on adjacent property on alley.
Mayank Budhiraja, 29, Waukee, Iowa, was fined $150 for equipment violation.
John Michael Pazzo, 23, North Canton, was fined $150 for speed.
A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed against Shary L. Evans, 49, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool.
Ashlee N. Boley, 22, Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $300 for endangering children. She was also sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 suspended, 30 hours of community service, three years of probation. Boley failed to take her child to medical appointments after it was determined that the child was being nutritionally neglected.
John Robert Fisher, 22, North Market, Lisbon, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail suspended, 20 hours of community service and two years of probation for aggravated menacing. Fisher made threats of having a firearm when in a verbal argument with a man that began over claims of reckless driving on May 5 in East Palestine.
Lawrence C. Nardini, 59, Saint George Street, East Liverpool, was fined $30 for no operators license.
Alex G. Perez Calel, 25, West State Street, was bound over to Common Pleas, charged with felony-four OVI fourth offense, felony-four OVI breath higher than .17 fourth offense, failure to stop after an accident, driving under suspension, assured clear distance and endangering children. Perez Calel allegedly was involved in a three-car accident in Salem on Nov. 7 while intoxicated. A 2-year-old child was in his vehicle at the time of the accident.
Carter L. Hawkins, 52, Erie Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended and credit for one day served, two years of probation, and 20 hours of community service for aggravated menacing. Hawkins told his landlord that he would “pop him” during an argument.
William D. Hively Jr., 55, Salem Grange Road, Salem, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.
Denise Ferrebee, 62, West Sixth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for criminal trespass after entering the Market Street Lofts from which she was previously trespassed on July 1.
Chloe Marie McPherson, 24, West Ohio Avenue, Sebring was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for getting into a physical altercation in Sebring on Nov. 29.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 9 for Christa Hutton, 47, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, charged with OVI and driving under suspension.
A pretrial hearing was set March 3 for Lionel S. Ackerman, 36, Poland, charged with OVI, OVI above. 17 and traffic control devices.
Michael John Benning Jr., 32, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, was fined $610 for OVI and speed. He was also sentenced to two years of probation and 20 hours of community service.
A pretrial hearing was set March 10 for Thomas R. Neapolitan, 39, Youngstown, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Neapolitan allegedly agreed to exchange $40 and methamphetamine for sexual activity with an undercover officer and traveled to Unity Township to do so on April 2. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and the cell phone he used to make the arrangement.
Vincent D. Mileto III, 33, Youngstown, was fined $85 for speed and texting while driving.
Charles Waggoner, 47, Toronto, was fined $1,625 and sentenced to 180 in jail, with 170 suspended and 10 imposed for OVI, invalid license plate, marked lanes, and two counts of open container. He was also sentenced to two years of probation, 30 hours of community service and a two-year license suspension.
A pretrial hearing was set Dec. 11 for Justin Michael Gamble, 33, Bates Street East Liverpool, charged with violation of a protection order, OVI second offense, driving under OVI suspension and improper turn. Gamble allegedly entered a store where the protected party was shopping on Oct. 11 in St. Clair Township.
David Leonard Krantz, 57, was fined $750 for engaging in position and possessing criminal tools. Kundinger agreed to exchange $140 for sexual activity with an undercover agent via his cell phone and traveled to Unity Township to do so on Aug. 27. He was also sentenced to two years of probation, 90 days in jail suspended and 20 hours of community service.
Jessica Gault, 31, McKinnon Avenue, was fined $250 for theft for failing to scan and pay for 25 items worth 140 at the Calcutta Walmart on Aug. 29. She was also sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended, two years of probation and 20 hours of community service and order to stay out of Walmart.
Kenneth Morris, 83, Monroe Avenue, South Broadway, Salem, was fined $35 for equipment violation.
