LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Vincent John Bianconi, 34, Tucson, Ariz., were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony pandering obscenity-buy procure possess obscene material and misdemeanors of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Bianconi was accused of allegedly responding to an undercover ad placed by an agent on a known prostitution website and requesting a woman meet him in his semi truck for sex acts in exchange for $30, arriving at the meeting location in East Palestine on July 4 in his semi truck wearing only a robe. In his possession was $50 and the cell phone used to make the arrangements, which was seized. An agent with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force also recovered images of minor children engaged in sexual acts.
Cases against Teresa Marie Whitehead, 50, Youngstown, were bound over to the county grand jury for third-degree felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanors of obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly concealing a glass pipe with residue in her sleeve after a traffic stop on Jan. 27, 2021 when she was a passenger in Salem. She had the glass pipe in her possession and also gave police several fake/false social security numbers and a fake/false last name, admitting later there was a warrant for her arrest.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Aug. 1 for Hayden Maxwell Wright, 34, St. George Street, East Liverpool, charged with third-degree felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanors of resisting arrest, obstructing official business and no seat belt. During a traffic stop on July 9 in East Liverpool, Wright was a passenger and was refusing to give his name after being asked by police several times, then was later recognized by an officer. He also refused to step out of the vehicle to be patted down for weapons, resulting in officers assisting him out of the vehicle. He attempted to pull away and thrashed around and was taken to the ground for officer safety to place handcuffs on him. When he was being removed from the vehicle, he allegedly dropped a bag of suspected methamphetamine on the ground and denied the drugs were his.
Michael B. Borkowski, 44, Canonsburg, Pa., was fined $900 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 88 days suspended and credit for two days served, for possessing criminal tools, engaging in prostitution, possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour online prostitution prevention course. Borkowski was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for money and methamphetamine, arriving in East Palestine for the meeting on Sept. 21, 2023. Allegedly in his possession was the phone used to make the arrangements, a loaded hypodermic syringe, a digital scale, crack cocaine and methamphetamine pipes and multiple baggies of suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale.
James M. O’Neill, 31, Waynesburg, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour education course. O’Neill requested sexual conduct for an agreed upon price of $120 from an undercover agent and drove to Salem on April 17 for the meeting, with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
Randy Collins, 64, Walnut Street, Salem, was fined $150 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for obstructing official business. He was ordered to complete 10 hours community service. On Feb. 26 in Salem, police officers responded to a Walnut Street residence for a report of drug activity and multiple people with warrants. Police made contact with Collins, the tenant, who told police several times the people with warrants were not there. Upon getting permission to search the apartment, officers found a female with a warrant hiding in a closet and she said he told her to hide there.
Amanda Show, 40, First Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended, leaving a balance of one day to serve in jail for theft. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart. On March 8, Show failed to scan and pay for 18 items totaling $138 at the Calcutta Walmart.
Leanna Howell, 36, Grant Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended, leaving a balance of three days to serve in jail for theft. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart. She failed to pay for 65 items totaling $451 at the Calcutta Walmart on April 17.
Trey Mitchell, 18, Jennings Avenue, Salem, was fined $450 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 169 days suspended and credit for 11 days served, for unlawful restraint, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service and to have no contact with the victims. On May 5 in Salem, Mitchell was accused of holding a female juvenile against her will and then refusing to get out of the doorway and bracing himself to resist officers, delaying them from checking on the female. He also resisted arrest.
A pretrial was set Oct. 1 for Earl Alderman Jr., 60, West Martin Street, East Palestine, charged with telecommunications harassment for allegedly continuing to email, text and call a woman on July 1 after being told to stop on several occasions.
A pretrial was set Sept. 19 for Corey Mathew Gouldsberry, 33, Cincinnati Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with criminal endangerment for allegedly setting fire to an alleged victim’s clothes on July 10 in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Oct. 7 for Anthony Robert Kelly, 36, Wood Street, East Palestine, charged with disorderly conduct for purposely waving his private parts at a neighbor on July 10 in East Palestine as a continuance of a previous dispute with him. The display was captured on the victim’s surveillance camera and by the victim personally.
James Berg, 35, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $130 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for drug paraphernalia and improper/expired registration. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service. Berg possessed a blue snort straw in his wallet during a traffic stop on July 1, 2023 in Columbiana.
A pretrial was set Oct. 8 for Amari Jones, 22, Garfield Heights, charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense and improper/expired registration.
A pretrial was set Oct. 7 for Martin Moody Jr., 72, Tiger Drive, Wellsville, charged with OVI first offense and marked lanes.
Ronald James Criss, 48, Monroe Avenue, Salem, was fined $975 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 27 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for physical control amended from OVI, a tail light violation and marijuana paraphernalia. Charges of possessing marijuana and no seat belt were dismissed. His driver’s license was suspended for one year and he was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
A pretrial was set Sept. 19 for Karly Golden, 20, Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and marked lanes.
Stephanie Stine, 35, Lexington Avenue, Salem, was fined $925 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and failure to control. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year
A pretrial was set Oct. 8 for Lucas Vincent, 43, Alliance, charged with driving under suspension, reasonable control and no seat belt.
A probation violation hearing was set July 25 for Blake Solmen, 24, Fair Avenue, Salem, for a 2022 case of reckless operation, no valid license and reasonable control.
Charles Gough, 25, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving under suspension.
Angel Cosme, 27, Youngstown, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.
Jody Solgot, 52, Struthers, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Ryan Young, 52, Rotonda West, Fla., was fined $250 for no license, amended from driving under suspension.
Jackie Dean Jones Jr., 52, McAllister Road, Lisbon, was fined $50 for speeding.
Cole Sanor, 18, Misty Morning Lane, Beloit, was fined $25 for expired registration. A charge of driving while texting was dismissed. A texting safety course was completed.
Hector Luis Davila Alvaladejo, 35, Youngstown, was fined $130 for speeding and two counts of no license.
A pretrial was set Sept. 8 for Joseph Rzucidlo, 54, state Route 172, Lisbon, charged with one way traffic.
A pretrial was set Oct. 8 for Joshua Gallimore, 36, Greenford, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Sept. 19 for Dena Gurney, 27, Pearl Street, Leetonia, charged with speeding.
