LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary/pretrial hearing was set July 15 for Dakota McCluskey, 32, state Route 644, Kensington, charged with two counts of fourth-degree felony burglary and three counts of misdemeanor criminal trespass for alleged incidents on July 6 in Perry Township. McCluskey allegedly entered a West Pidgeon Road home when the resident was there and then when police were looking for him, he allegedly entered an attached garage at a Hearthside Drive home while that resident was there. The trespass charges stem from him trespassing on properties on West Pidgeon Road and Hearthside Drive. Police while searching for him heard shouting on West Pidgeon Road and then saw the suspect being escorted off of the property by two males where he had entered a blocked off back yard.
A preliminary hearing was set July 15 for Matthew Pacillo, 44, Lackawanna, N.Y., charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs. Pacillo was accused of possessing cocaine concealed in his sock on July 6 in East Palestine.
A pretrial was set July 25 for Kip Bailey, 36, state Route 267, East Liverpool, charged with child enticement for allegedly driving up to a juvenile in East Liverpool on July 2 and offering her money to leave the yard. An affidavit said he could be heard on security footage saying, “Hey if you and her walk down that street and watch I’ll pay you a hundred dollars.”
A pretrial was set Sept. 26 for Michelle Kerr, 42, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attempting to harm another woman by knowingly throwing a valance from a mini blind and attempting to strike her on July 7 in East Palestine.
A pretrial was set Sept. 12 for John Muschweck, 65, Stagecoach Road, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing an 8-year-old child by the chin and throat area, then throwing the child onto the ground from a stool at a St. Clair Township residence on July 7.
Ashley Woods, 36, Harding Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence at the request of the prosecutor. Woods was accused of striking a man in the head, striking his private parts several times and striking him in the abdomen on Sept. 24, 2023 in Perry Township.
A pretrial was set Sept. 5 for Brian Clinton Clemmer, 42, Greenville, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and permitting drug abuse for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging to have sexual activity with a female in exchange for cocaine, arriving July 6 in East Palestine for the meeting with a male friend who allegedly had cocaine in his sock. Clemmer also possessed the phone used to make the arrangements.
Shawn Wade Eddy, 46, Alliance, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour online prostitution prevention course. Eddy was accused of requesting sexual activity from an undercover agent in exchange for $160 and then traveling to Salem on April 19 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set Oct. 1 for Alicia Craig, 33, West Fifth Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly assisting a man who was allegedly shoplifting at the Salem Walmart on Dec. 17, 2023. The man took a shopping cart of unpaid items to the vehicle she was driving.
Walter Vancil, 61, Mineral Ridge, was fined $400 and given a suspended 60-day jail term for telecommunications harassment. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Vancil was accused of leaving text messages and recorded messages stating he wished a woman and her family would die because of the East Palestine train wreck and continued calling her, making obscene comments that were harassing in nature. He had purchased an item from her on a social media marketplace and accused her of defrauding him. East Palestine police had told him to stop all contact with her and to stop calling her and posting on her social media accounts, but he continued to contact her.
A pretrial was set Sept. 30 for Christina Sanchez, 37, Holliday Street, East Liverpool, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly destroying a neighbor’s garden lights after coming to his fence with a baseball bat on July 5 in East Liverpool, then walking onto his porch with the baseball bat and hitting his door and mailbox, causing damage. The incident was recorded on security camera footage. On the footage, police witnessed the defendant yelling about a firework the victim set off burning her daughter. The footage also showed the victim lighting off a firework which was set off into the air and not toward the neighbor’s home nor her daughter.
A pretrial was set Sept. 12 for Chad Richards, 35, West North Avenue, East Palestine, charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, resisting arrest, reckless operation and obstructing official business for allegedly failing to follow the instruction of a police officer directing traffic after the fireworks display in East Palestine on July 4. He had been ordered to stop by the officer to allow other traffic to turn and for juveniles to cross the street, then he allegedly became impatient and began honking his horn and yelling and took off at a high rate of speed. When police made contact with him at his home, he allegedly resisted arrest, pulling away from officers and then pulling and pushing officers with his weight, causing an officer to slip to the ground.
A pretrial was set Sept. 26 for Alyssa Faye Hunt, 22, Youngstown, charged with endangering children and reckless operation for allegedly creating risk to a 13-year-old in her vehicle while driving at high rates of speed estimated at more than 80 mph in a 35-mph zone on July 7 in East Palestine.
A pretrial was set Sept. 30 for Markell Smith, 19, East Main Street, Salineville, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly not cooperating after a traffic crash on June 3 in Salineville when he was the passenger and claimed he didn’t know the driver, later admitting the driver’s name.
A pretrial hearing was set July 22 for Charles Richards, 30, Main Street, Wellsville, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a burnt glass pipe for allegedly smoking methamphetamine on July 6 in Salem. A probation violation hearing was also set July 22 for a 2021 aggravated trespass case.
Shane Knepper, 53, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $300 and sentenced to three days in jail, with credit for three days served, for drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension for possessing a clear baggy with white crystal substance during a traffic stop on Jan. 13 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Sept. 5 for Melvin Hershberger, 19, Rome, charged with operating a vehicle impaired, driving under suspension and no seat belt.
A pretrial was set Sept. 30 for John E. Faloba, 58, Eagleton Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense and license plate light.
A pretrial was set Oct. 1 for Bridget McKinnon, 38, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense, driving under suspension, drug paraphernalia, tail light violation and speeding. She was accused of possessing a glass smoking device with burnt residue during a traffic stop July 8 in East Liverpool.
A status conference hearing was set July 15 for Nicole Odie, 44, state Route 558, Salem, charged with OVI first offense, failure to produce license, traffic control devices and failure to display valid sticker.
A pretrial was set Sept. 26 for Joseph Bender, 24, Canfield, charged with OVI second offense, OVI breath second offense and speeding.
A pretrial was set Aug. 12 for Joshua Davidson, 31, West Southern Avenue, Columbiana, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Oct. 1 for William Wildman, 50, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Sept. 10 for Calvin Shepard, 28, state Route 558, Leetonia, charged with driving under suspension.

Cagney Allen Springer, 35, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $400 for two counts each of driving under suspension and unauthorized plate.
Joshua Pastore, 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $400 for expired registration, no motorcycle endorsement and two counts of speeding, with two counts of driving under suspension dismissed.
Jennifer Holley, 38, Youngstown, was fined $50 for speeding.
Jennifer Nash, 31, 10th Street, Wellsville, was fined $50 for unauthorized plate.
Laura Mumbach, 38, Union Avenue NE, Homeworth, was fined $50 for speeding.
Barbara Burgess, 68, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $25 for speeding.
Mallory Stowers, 31, West Sixth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.
Alyssa Flint, 32, Stacey Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $100 for driving while texting.
Kaiden Nagel, 20, Brenda Lane, Columbiana, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.
