LISBON — A Columbiana County Common Pleas Court judge denied a Lisbon man’s attempt to have evidence suppressed in the case against him.
Curtis Gearhart, 39, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, is still scheduled to face a jury trial on July 23 for a third-degree felony tampering with evidence charge. He was accused of attempting to delete the contents of his phone which had been taken into evidence by police after an overdose incident on May 7, 2023 in Lisbon.
The motion to suppress filed by the defense alleged that the search warrant affidavit was deficient, but the ruling said probable cause existed for the issuance of the search warrant.
