LISBON — An East Liverpool man already sentenced on drug charges faced sentencing on an additional case involving drugs and a stolen gun, bringing his total prison term to 21 months.

Steven Summers, 49, Vale Street, East Liverpool, appeared in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court and received a sentence of 12 months for a lesser offense of attempted aggravated possession of drugs, a fourth-degree felony that was reduced from a third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, along with a fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property and fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance.

The prison term was ordered served consecutive to a nine-month prison term for two counts of possession of cocaine, a fourth-degree felony, bringing the total to 21 months.

He was also ordered to forfeit $632 related to a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case. Summers possessed methamphetamine and oxycodone, $632, had a stolen gun and possessed a firearm muffler or suppressor on Dec. 27, 2021.

The cocaine charges stemmed from him possessing cocaine on April 1, 2022, with one charge dealing with an amount of cocaine equal or greater than 5 grams, but less than 10 grams.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

–Jarrod Lee Westover, 24, North Market Street, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to three lesser fourth-degree felony counts of burglary, with sentencing set for July 12. The charges had originally been third-degree felonies. Westover was accused of breaking into a Lisbon apartment without the occupant’s permission on Jan. 25, Jan. 29 and Jan. 30, each time using a credit card to open the door and steal food items.

— Matthew Conkle, 45, Metz Road, Columbiana, was placed under community control for three years after pleading guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine in an amount equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk on Jan. 5, 2023. He was given a mandatory fine of $5,000.
