LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Feb. 15 for Robert Smith, 47, Hammond School Road, Wellsville, charged with fifth-degree felony receiving stolen property for allegedly selling a stolen Pintle Hitch Equipment Trailer for $700 on Aug. 19, 2023 in East Liverpool.

A preliminary hearing was set Feb. 8 for Jarrod Westover, 23, North Market Street, Lisbon, charged with three counts of third-degree felony burglary for allegedly breaking into an apartment using a credit card and stealing food items on Jan. 30 in Lisbon.

Charles Courtney, 44, South Elm Street, Columbiana, was fined $500 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended and credit for four days served, leaving six days left to serve, for resisting arrest, menacing, and obstructing official business. Courtney was also ordered to perform 50 hours of community service. On June 16, 2023 in Columbiana, Courtney threatened a police officer, saying “I’ll put lead in you,” before walking towards his car, leading the officer to think Courtney was going to get a gun to shoot the officer. The day before, on June 15, Courtney was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after refusing to comply with an officer’s instructions during a traffic stop.

Korey Barr, 28, Chestnut Street, Leetonia, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, leaving no time left to serve, for a charge of disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence. Barr struck a woman on her head with his closed right fist, causing a bump on her forehead on Nov. 11, 2023 in Leetonia.

Christopher Austin, 38, Anderson Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $200 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, leaving zero days left to serve, for a charge of disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence for knowingly causing or attempting to cause harm to a woman on Oct. 26, 2023 in Wellsville. Austin was also ordered to serve 20 hours of community service.

Meadow Iagulli, 23, Anderson Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $200 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 30 days suspended, leaving zero days left to serve, for a charge of disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence, for allegedly causing or attempting to cause physical harm to another woman on Oct. 27, 2023 in Wellsville. Iagulli was also ordered to perform 20 hours of community service.

Chase Perkins, 25, Roosevelt Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and sentenced to 60 days in jail, with credit for five days served, leaving 55 days left to serve, for aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct, and criminal damaging for cutting the cables of two security cameras at The Foundry in Salem on May 20, 2023.

A pretrial was set Feb. 12 for Leah Wolfe, 46, East Grant Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attacking a man on Feb. 1 in East Palestine, causing cuts and substantial bruising to his ribs.

Chia-Wei Chang, 32, Renton, Wash., was fined $1,075 for charges of disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution, expired registration, and possessing criminal tools for responding to an undercover ad posted on a known prostitution website and arranging to engage in sexual activity with a female in exchange for $140 using the cell phone that was found to be in his possession on Nov. 12, 2023 in East Palestine.

David Gasior, 50, Walnut Street, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for two days served, leaving zero days left to serve, for a charge of disorderly conduct after he was found sleeping on someone’s porch and began screaming when an officer attempted to arrest him on Jan. 30 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set March 26 for Andrew Buchs, 44, North Benton, charged with violation of a protection order for allegedly contacting a woman who had a protection order against him in Homeworth on Dec. 27.

A status conference hearing was set April 1 and a jury trial set April 24 for Jonathan Cress, 23, State Street, Leetonia, charged with telecommunications harassment for allegedly contacting a juvenile by telecommunications on Nov. 23, 2022 in Leetonia after being told by the father not to call the juvenile again.

Jeff Shriver, 50, New Martinsville, W. Va., was fined $200 for two counts of disorderly conduct, amended from telecommunications harassment, for calling a business in East Liverpool 30-40 times, making threats and harassing the victim, after being asked to stop calling, on July 23, 2020.

Joseph Yager, 71, Church Avenue, was fined $200 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended, leaving zero days left to serve, for a charge of assault. Yager was also issued a no contact order with the victim for assaulting a juvenile, pushing him to the ground, on Jan. 9 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set April 29 for Travis Beiling, 40, Cherry Fork Avenue, Leetonia, charged with violating a protection order for allegedly coming within 500 feet of a woman who had a protection order against him on Jan. 26 in Leetonia.

A pretrial was set March 12 for Robert Stringham, 26, Reeves Road, Warren, charged with complicity to commit theft and permitting drug abuse for allegedly operating a vehicle belonging to him and allowing it to be used for a felony drug abuse offense on Dec. 23, 2023 in East Palestine.

A pretrial was set April 9 for Justin Sprout, 43, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with litter, storage of furniture, household screening, storage of tires, and property maintenance requirements for allegedly not abating junk and rubbish issues at a home he owns in East Liverpool on June 8, 2023, after receiving written notice from the city of East Liverpool on May 4, 2023.

A pretrial was set March 26 for Brian Noble, 53, Pauls Lane, East Liverpool, charged with animals running at large for his cows allegedly being loose in East Liverpool on Jan. 11.

A pretrial was set April 1 for Brandon Mango, 46, Gills Lane, Hanoverton, charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, OVI above 0.17 breath-first offense, and speed, after a traffic stop on Jan. 26 in Salem.

A motion hearing was set March 28 for Dennis Risden, 46, Salem Church Street Northeast, Alliance, charged with failure to display valid sticker and drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing two glass methamphetamine pipes and a digital scale with white residue during a traffic stop on July 4, 2023 in Knox Township.

A pretrial was set April 23 for Anthony Antonas, 43, Latta Road, East Palestine, charged with OVI third offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, and traffic control devices from a traffic stop on Jan. 31 in East Palestine.

A pretrial was set April 22 for Charles Rhuetan, 78, Hoopes Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and left of center after a traffic stop on Jan. 25 in Salem Township.

Anthony Webster, 21, Youngstown, was fined $650 for reckless operation, amended from OVI, speed, distracted driving, possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana, and his license was suspended for 180 days with no driving privileges for a traffic stop on July 4, 2023 in Elkrun Township.

Anyshia Stewart, 20, Wampum, Pa., was fined $150 for failure to control after crashing her vehicle into another car on Oct. 14 in East Liverpool Township.

Michael Colaluca, 32, Youngstown, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle, amended from leaving the scene of an accident from an incident on June 5, 2023 in Hanover Township. A charge of no commercial driver’s license was dismissed.

Kaylynn Keener, 35, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $500 for speed from a traffic stop on Oct. 4, 2023 in Lisbon.

Andrea Mowad, 56, Monaca, Pa., was fined $195 for an equipment violation, amended from driving while texting, from a traffic stop on Nov. 1 in St. Clair Township.

Thomas Joy, 60, Main Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 for illegal plates.

Franklin Morton, 60, Cleveland, was fined $150 for equipment violation, amended from improper passing.

A pretrial was set April 23 for Preston Snedeker, 19, Union Ridge Road, Rogers, charged with right of way public safety vehicle.

Justin Sprout, 43, Sophia Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension, amended from driving under suspension/restriction, after being found to have an arrest warrant for a drug possession charge during a traffic stop on Jan. 13 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set April 25 for Angela Blake, 30, John Street, East Liverpool, charged with stop sign- school bus, after a traffic stop on Jan. 25 in St. Clair Township.

Terrence Strong, 26, Wooster, was fined $250 for driving under suspension and red light.

Crystal Felker, 72, Forsyth Place, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for stop sign- school bus after a traffic stop on Jan. 26 in St. Clair Township.

Esteban Calel, 21, Morris Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for driving under suspension- financial responsibility, amended from driving under suspension/restriction.

Nathan Kersey, 20, Toronto, Ohio, was fined $225 for assured clear distance and driving under suspension.
