LISBON — An East Liverpool man was served Thursday with two separate secret indictments issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for multiple drug charges.

Shawn M. Peterson, 39, state Route 213, was charged in one indictment with third-degree felonies of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs and a fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine, all with specifications for forfeiture of money in a drug case. He was accused of possessing and preparing for sale an amount of methamphetamine equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk, possessing cocaine and possessing $10,300 on March 20, 2023.

For the other indictment, Peterson was charged with third-degree felonies of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both with specifications for forfeiture of money in a drug case, for allegedly possessing and preparing for sale methamphetamine in an amount equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk and possessing $1,648 on Dec. 16, 2022.
