LISBON — An East Liverpool woman accused of burglary and recently found competent was ordered evaluated for sanity at the time of the offense.
Holly Maddocks, 25, Thompson Avenue, appeared this week before Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Washam, who ordered the evaluation for sanity by the Forensic Psychiatric Center of Northeast Ohio.
Maddocks had originally been ordered to be evaluated for both sanity and competency in August, but did not cooperate. She ended up transferred to Heartland Behavioral Health due to her behavior, with competency restored.
Maddocks was charged with third-degree felony burglary for allegedly breaking into the home of a family friend in East Liverpool, beginning to tear up the interior and drinking the homeowner’s alcohol on May 14.
