LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Lauren Dilworth, 28, Park Avenue, East Palestine, was bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felonies of falsification and theft for allegedly submitting fictitious receipts to Norfolk Southern for reimbursement for lodging, food and fuel when she was not displaced by the train derailment, with the amount received by fraudulent means allegedly totaling $18,840 from March 21 through June 5. On June 5, she also provided Norfolk Southern an altered bank statement showing a $4,775 deduction from her account when they questioned the lodging receipts.

A case against William Munholand, 64, Gilson Road, Salem, was bound over to the county grand jury for fifth-degree felony illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premise and misdemeanor aggravated menacing. Munholand allegedly pulled a a firearm out of his pants and pointed it at a bartender at the Flying Pig Saloon in Salem on Oct. 23.

A preliminary hearing was set Dec. 14 for Bobbi Buckley, 30, Newell, W.Va., also West North Avenue, East Palestine, charged with fifth-degree felony forgery for allegedly forging a jail document on Nov. 3.

A preliminary/status hearing was set Jan. 22 for Tiffany Sattler, 32, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with fifth-degree felony theft and misdemeanors of theft and criminal trespass. A jury trial was set Jan. 31 for the misdemeanor charges. Sattler allegedly stole a man’s electric bike on Oct. 16 in Wellsville and stole a jacket, pack of cigarettes and television firestick while trespassing in an apartment in Wellsville on Oct. 28, 2022.

Dylan Walsh, 22, Lacroft Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, with credit for nine days served, for resisting arrest and two counts of obstructing official business. Walsh fled on foot from a traffic stop on Nov. 6 in St. Clair Township and had an active warrant for his arrest. On June 15 during a traffic stop in Liverpool Township, he provided two false social security numbers and claimed he didn’t have his driver’s license with him, then gave his name and date of birth and fled on foot. For another case, he was fined $250 and sentenced to 150 days in jail, with credit for nine days served, for aggravated trespass for trespassing in a Hammond School Road, Madison Township residence on Oct. 7. He was originally charged with breaking and entering. A pretrial was set Jan. 22 for Walsh for a charge of no motorcycle endorsement. In other traffic cases, Walsh was fined $650 for reckless operation, no valid license and three counts driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set Jan. 9 for Cameron Yarwood, 45, New Garden Road, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly stealing a hat from Smith Oil in Salem on Oct 26.

Martin Barckhoff, 40, Joy Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $750 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for possessing criminal tools and disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution. He was permitted to buy out 40 hours of community service for $400, ordered to forfeit $150 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force and ordered to complete a 12-hour online preventing prostitution course. Barckhoff answered an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a person in exchange for $120, arriving in East Palestine on Aug. 26 for the meeting.

A pretrial was set Nov. 20 for Steven Boggs, 39, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing a woman into a telephone pole on Nov. 12 in East Liverpool, causing a visible bump on her forehead.

Mark Razo, 40, Salem Unity Road, Salem, was fined $450 and sentenced to 60 days in jail, with credit for 24 days served, for obstructing official business, failure to disclose personal information and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for failing to provide his identification and refusing to provide it several times during a traffic stop Jan. 10 in Lisbon and possessing a pipe for use with dangerous drugs during a traffic stop in Salem on Aug. 24. He was also fined $450 for use of unauthorized plate and two counts driving under suspension.

Samantha Crawford, 36, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, amended from assault. She was also ordered to complete 50 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Crawford was accused of refusing to leave a Salineville property and kicking another woman in the head on Jan. 4.

Casey Richards Carroll, 36, Coventry Township, was fined $400 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 30 days served, for two counts of passing bad checks. She was also ordered to pay restitution of $196.24 to the Columbiana Way Station, where she had made a purchase with a bad check on July 22, 2019. She also made out a bad check on July 22, 2019 at the Park Avenue Marketplace in Columbiana.

A status hearing was set Feb. 27 and a jury trial was set March 6 for Jerome Flenory, 35, Main Street, Hanoverton, charged with domestic violence, possessing marijuana and two counts disorderly conduct-intoxication. Flenory allegedly threatened a woman during a domestic on May 19 in Hanoverton and had marijuana. On July 14 in Hanoverton, he was told multiple times to stop yelling and then causing a disturbance while in booking at the county jail after his arrest.

A pretrial was set Feb. 5 for Candy McClish, 44, Oliver Street, East Liverpool, charged with assault and criminal damaging for allegedly assaulting a man delivering a pizza on July 4 on Walnut Street in East Liverpool and then punching his windshield on his vehicle, shattering the glass.

A disposition hearing was set Dec. 14 for Devon Taylor, 23, Annesley Road, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 36 items totaling $113 at the Calcutta Walmart on Aug. 4.

A pretrial was set Jan. 11 for Amanda Willis, 33, Georgetown, Pa., charged with violation of a protection order for allegedly violating a protection order by attempting to contract protected persons on Oct. 4 in St. Clair Township.

A pretrial was set Feb. 6 for Timothy Hidasey, 31, West Perry Street, Salem, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly breaking a door at a West Perry Street, Salem property on Nov. 11.

Mark Oiler, 22, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Oiler caused physical harm to a woman on Oct. 30 in East Liverpool.

John Yano, 38, New Cumberland, W.Va., was fined $300 and sentenced to 19 days in jail, with credit for nine days served, for two counts possession of drug abuse instruments for possessing a used syringe on March 22 in East Liverpool and a capped syringe on July 19 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Nov. 21 for Treyven Johnson, 23, Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with two counts drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a razor blade, metal card and baggies all with white residue during a traffic stop in Liverpool Township on Nov. 9.

A probation violation hearing was set Nov. 27 for Christopher Wood, 30, Toronto, for a 2023 domestic violence charge.

A pretrial was set Feb. 13 for Darlene Vantilburg, 35, Laura Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with failure to file city income tax return for allegedly failing to file an East Liverpool city income tax return for 2022.

A pretrial was set Feb. 6 for Angelo Sposato, 19, Eagle Drive, East Liverpool, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, driving under suspension and speeding.

Steven Bondoni, 44, Canton, was fined $950 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI first offense and lights required. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.

Nathan Nardini, 21, North Shady Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $175 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for speeding, with a driving under suspension charge dismissed. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a remedial driving course with a valid identification.

A pretrial was set Feb. 13 for Michael Beaver, 35, Opal Drive, Wellsville, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and a turn signal violation.

Angela Walsh, 43, Lacroft Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and expired registration.

Ethan Boyd, 26, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for being in a fight in Elkrun Township on Aug. 6.

Luis Garofalo, 42, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Kaleb Brown, 23, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 for no license, amended from driving under suspension.

Bradley Dailey, 35, Morton Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for school bus stop sign.

Teresa McCoy, 68, Dormont Road, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for drug paraphernalia and tail lights. McCoy possessed a pill bottle with a cut straw with residue and a plastic bag with a white rock substance during a traffic stop on Nov. 25, 2022 in St. Clair Township. A charge of possession of drugs was dismissed.

Ronald Melott, 47, Lacroft Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Emily Ann Duffy, 21, state Route 517, Lisbon, was fined $295 for two counts of speeding.

A pretrial was set Feb. 20 for Richard Brown, 37, Midland, Pa., charged with driving under suspension and improper/expired registration.

Tomica Beauchene, 42, Tampa, Fla., was fined $150 for lighted lights, amended from speeding.

Jesus Medrano Garcia, 55, Salem Unity Road, Salem, was fined $100 for an equipment violation, amended from reasonable control.

Justin Cornell, 26, Columbia Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $230 for speeding and no seat belt.

William Cruny, 19, Follansbee, W.Va., was fined $150 for speeding.

Steven Shaffer, 40, West State Street, Salem, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and a red light violation.
