LISBON — A Beloit woman accused of alleged child abuse and causing serious physical harm to a 4-year-old child was served Tuesday with a secret indictment for three felony charges.

Melissa Mills, 39, West Middletown Road, was charged by the Columbiana County Grand Jury with felonious assault, a second-degree felony, and two counts of endangering children, one a second-degree felony and one a third-degree felony.

The indictment said the alleged abuse of the child occurred from May 25, 2020 to June 17, 2020.

Also served with a secret indictment was Kirk Price, 55, Eighth Street, East Liverpool, for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 21, 2022.
