LISBON — A Leetonia man who assaulted a woman at a child’s birthday party was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended and credit for five days served recently in Columbiana County Municipal Court.
Devin Earich, 28, High Street, was also ordered to have no contact with the victim and put on two years probation for slamming the victim to the ground during an altercation March 21 in Leetonia.
Douglas Brayshaw, 36, East Main Street, was fined $200 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 suspended and credit for one day served as well as 20 hours of community service for obstructing official business. Police heard a woman yell for help in an apartment building next to the police station on Thursday. At the scene, the woman advised police that Brayshaw had thrown water on her during an argument. Police later found Brayshaw hiding behind a bedroom door in the residence. Brayshaw was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 6 for Isiah Coulter, 22, Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft and criminal mischief, tampering with the property of another. Coulter allegedly ripped a security camera off of the building at Convenient Mart in East Liverpool and threw items at the window on Aug. 1.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 13 for Cynthia Williams, 75, West Martin Street, East Palestine, charged with two counts of theft. Williams allegedly on two separate occasions, went into the Salem Walmart and placed items into shopping bags and then returned those items for a refund at the service desk. The police were notified on July 7.
A pretrial was set Feb. 8 for Ronald Criss, 48, Monroe Avenue, Salem, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, OVI, taillights and no seatbelt.
A pretrial hearing was set Dec. 19 for Zachary Westover 24, state Route 154, Lisbon, for failure to reinstate.
A pretrial hearing was set Feb. 8 for Brady Leyman, 23, McCracken Road, Salem, charged with OVI, failure to control and left of center.
Dennis Massey III, 40, Wheathill Road, East Palestine, was fined $150 for no motorcycle endorsement and failure to control.
