LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Oct. 30 for John White, 59, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, charged with improper handling of firearm in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly having a loaded firearm in his vehicle and allegedly waving it around during a road rage incident on July 1 in Salem.
A preliminary hearing was set Oct. 5 for Christopher Snay, 46, Pinetree Circle, East Palestine, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs for allegedly having oxycodone when a search warrant was executed at his residence on Jan. 14, 2021. A mirror was found with crushed white powder, a credit car and razor blade used for scraping and gathering narcotics for snorting.
A pretrial was set Jan. 9 for Kevin L. Smith, 62, Warren, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools, drug paraphernalia and attempted for allegedly responding to an undercover ad and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $50 and crack cocaine, arriving in East Palestine on Nov. 22, 2022 for the meeting. He also possessed two crack pipes and suspected cocaine when police met him.
A pretrial was set Oct. 5 for Larry Ellis Jr., 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly holding a knife in his hand and threatening a woman with it on Sept. 28.
A pretrial was set Jan. 8 for Nicholas Anderson, 29, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with disorderly conduct, possessing marijuana and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia for allegedly being intoxicated at the 7&30 Superette on state Route 7 and refusing to go with EMS when approached, continuing to ball his fists in an aggressive manner toward deputies on Sept. 28. He also possessed marijuana, a pipe and a grinder.
A pretrial was set Jan. 8 for Labrea Kisner, 28, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal damaging for allegedly driving a man’s car into his motorcycle, causing damage to the front wheel of the motorcycle and then leaving on Sept. 28 in Madison Township.
A pretrial was set Dec. 12 for Brandon Moore, 20, Summerset Drive, East Liverpool, charged with possession of schedule 4 substance for allegedly possessing steroids during a traffic stop on May 24, 2022 in Elkrun Township.
A pretrial was set Jan. 11 for Scott Dean, 39, Benton Road, Salem, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a container for the storage of dangerous drugs in his pants during a traffic stop on Sept. 28 in Perry Township.
A pretrial was set Jan. 18 for Shea Holden, 44, Alliance, charged with one way street and non compliance/driving under suspension.
Grand Jury
LISBON — Two defendants facing drug charges were served Thursday with secret indictments issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for several felony counts.
Sara Noling, 36, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was charged with third-degree felonies of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a special governmental facility and aggravated possession of drugs and a misdemeanor possession of drugs for allegedly taking drugs into a facility and possessing buprenorphine and methampetamine on Oct. 18, 2022.
Steven Summers, 48, Vale Street, East Liverpool, was charged with third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property and fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance. Both drug charges included a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case. Summers allegedly possessed methamphetamine and oxycodone, $632, had a stolen gun and possessed a firearm muffler or suppressor on Dec. 27, 2021.
