LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, John H. Barber, 53, April Road NE, Salineville, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.

Krystal A. Senior, 30, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

David W. Nemeth Jr., 35, Brown Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Ronald J. Mank, 21, Fairview Court, Salem, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for running into the roadway near Reilly School in Salem on July 21, yelling for someone to send police to come and arrest him.

A July 31 pretrial was set for Heather R. Moore, 40, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, charged with assault for allegedly assaulting an elderly man with a cane and kicking him in the side while he was on the ground at the Speedway on West State Street, Salem, on July 25.

Keys allegedly received gas from Rick Willis, who was using a credit card which did not belong to him, and then fled police when they tried to stop her on Saturday.

A Sept. 18 pretrial was set for Michael Derrick Johnston, 21, Tague Street, East Liverpool, cited with possession of marijuana, OVI first offense, marked lanes and a seat belt violation.

A Sept. 29 pretrial was set for Stephen R. Morris, 39, state Route 172, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense, failure to reinstate a license and failure to control.

A Jan. 27 step sentencing hearing was set for Ryan K. Hoover, 18, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, who pleaded guilty to underage consumption. A possession of marijuana citation was dismissed.

Municipal

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Steven L. Coil, 66, Hibbetts-Mill Road, Wellsville, was bound over to the county grand jury for a charge of having weapons while under disability. He is accused of having two shotguns, two handguns and a rifle in his home on May 23.

A July 31 preliminary hearings were set for Shane Allen Harris, 32, Martins Ferry, and Jason E. Harris, 23, Cusick Road, Lisbon, both charged with theft for allegedly selling gas in Salineville on several occasions at a half-priced discount, using a company card he was not entitled to use. A pretrial was set for both men on the same date for a citation of misuse of credit cards. Additionally, Shane A. Harris, 32, Lincoln Street, Salineville, was fined $30 for failure to control.

Wesley J. Bennett, 46, East Euclid Street, Salem, was fined $700, had his license suspended for six months, was required 30 hours community service and sentenced to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and driving under suspension.

Samuel J. Faloba, 60, Woodville Road, Leetonia, was fined $280, had his license suspended for six months, was required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for seat belt and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Robert Jones, 59, Roses Run Road, Salineville, was fined $300 and required 50 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension.

Zachary D. Plumley, 23, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $200, credited with two days served and required 40 hours of community service for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for slamming his girlfriend to the floor, choking her and striking her in the head on July 20.

Gregory H. Joiner, 37, Jacksonville, N.C., was fined $150 for tail lights amended from speeding.

James B. Kawasaki, 37, Moundsville, was fined $150 for tail lights amended from speeding.

Chasity R. Thacker, 28, Canton, was fined $150 for driving a Chevy Cavalier on state forest property in an area marked authorized vehicles only.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Patrick F. Brennan, 62, Hawthorne Drive, North Benton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of felony OVI. Brennan has six previous OVI convictions. Additionally, an Oct. 23 pretrial was set for Brennan, who is also cited with OVI first offense, no motorcycle endorsement and turn signal violations.

Shane J. Linden, 35, Crestview Road, Leetonia, was fined $250, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for driving under OVI suspension.

Ethan D. Zohno, 23, Metz Road, Columbiana, was fined $150 for speeding.

Kaleb E. Simpson, state Route 7, New Waterford, was fined $150 for assault for punching Albert Robinson in the face during an argument on July 12.

Rory T. Warnock, 51, Arberdeen, Miss., was fined $125 for assured clear distance and no license amended from driving under suspension.

Barry Harris, 53, 14th Street, Wellsville, was fined $75 for no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Anthony P. Farland, 49, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, was fined $50 and credited with one day served in jail for disorderly conduct for taunting and cursing at others in the trailer park, attempting to get them to fight and refusing to stay inside when warned by deputies.

Matthew J. Ankrom, 23, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was credited with 93 days served for theft for forging and writing a check belonging to Alexis Nicole Faloba without her permission on April 17.

A July 31 pretrial was set for Mary K. Barker, 21, Township Road 456, Irondale, charged with assault for allegedly striking Jessica Conger in the back of the neck in Wellsville on Wednesday.

A July 31 pretrial was set for Douglas Brayshaw, 25, East Rebecca Street, East Palestine, charged with resisting arrest, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct for allegedly being involved in a loud argument and running from police when they arrived at the apartment.

An Aug. 7 pretrial was set for Clarence O. Kinder, 59, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, charged with assault for allegedly punching Tammy Peterson in the face twice on Thursday.

An Aug. 28 pretrial was set for Malcolm Gilford, 27, Niles, cited with possession of drugs for allegedly having less than 100 grams of marijuana on June 20.

A Sept. 11 pretrial was set for Brandon C. Heckathorn, 28, state Route 164, Lisbon, charged with unauthorized use of property for allegedly selling his brother’s handgun to another person.

Municipal

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Edward J. Pruett,47, Youngstown, was fined $1,100, sentenced to 30 days in jail, required 50 hours community service and had his license suspended for two years for OVI third offense and driving under suspension. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Eugene Anthony Pineda, 22, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $775, had his license suspended for 180 days, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and no license. A marked lanes citation was dismissed.

Luis M. Quinones, 35, Poland, was fined $700, sentenced to three days in jail and three days in a counseling program and had his license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense and marked lanes.

George E. Faulkner Jr., 27, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $330, had his license suspended for a year, required 40 hours community service, credited with six days served in jail and sentenced to 14 additional days for failure to comply, hit skip, failure to control and failure to reinstate a license. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Peter S. Poulakos, 19, Midway Drive, New Middletown, was fined $400 for underage consumption, required 30 hours community service, sentenced to 30 days in jail and required to complete the STEP program.

Jonathan R. Archer, 18, Robin Avenue, Salem, was fined $400 for underage consumption, required 30 hours community service, sentenced to 30 days in jail and required to complete the STEP program.

Jason Jones, 34, Arena Drive, Newell, W.Va., was fined $400 and required 50 hours community service for unauthorized plate and no license.

Allen Reed, 39, Lake Front Drive, Beloit, was fined $300, credited with 14 days served in jail and required 25 hours community service for two counts of disorderly conduct. A resisting arrest citation was dismissed. Reed reportedly was intoxicated and harassing neighbor on May 28. Then came home intoxicated on July 11, began to throw things around the home and became aggressive with a deputy, who came to speak with him about his behavior.

Clifford R. Fitch II, 24, Youngstown, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension amended from driving under OVI suspension.

Matthew A. Bush, 31, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $150, required 30 hours community service and credited with one day served in jail for theft for taking a bottle of liquor from Gene’s Drive-Thru on June 25.

Song Cha Shelton, 71, Akron, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from a stop sign violation.

Deborah C. Landers, 53, Kirk Road, Columbiana, was fined $150 for speeding.

Nickolaus J. Norton, 26, Millrock Road, Rogers, was fined $150 and credited with one day served in jail for assault for punching Jordan M. Wilson several times in the face and kicking him when he was on the ground at Hap’s Bar on Jan. 3, 2010.

Larry L. Athey Jr., 42, Louisville, was fined $100 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Kristen M. Hamner, 29, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $100 and credited with one day served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking her husband Chad M. Hamner in the arm on May 21.

Erika Lee Grant-Lopez, 42, North Market Street, Lisbon, was fined $75 for no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

An Aug. 21 pretrial was set for Justin J. Davis, 23, Eric Drive, Lisbon, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension and a turn signal violation.

An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for Alfred L. Wittenauer, 77, Wilderness Avenue, East Palestine, charged with assault for allegedly slapping Candice DeLaroza in the face and attempting to choke her on Monday.

An Aug. 28 sentencing was set for Ronda L. Riggs, 44, Washington Street, Salineville, who pleaded no contest to theft for taking Long Island Iced Tea valued at $8 and Jack Daniels and Cola beverage valued at $7 from B and K. Beverage on March 30.

An Aug. 28 pretrial was set for Tyler J. Davis, 21, Maple Street, Lisbon, cited with carrying a concealed weapon and camping in an undesignated area on division property for allegedly camping on the nature trail at Guilford Lake State Park and carrying a .25 caliber handgun with him on Thursday.

Cletis R. Monroy, 31, Rose Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of drug abuse instrument. Citations of possession of criminal tools and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

Charles A. Dustman, 67, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 for a barking and howling dog.

An Aug. 4 pretrial was set for Donald C. Krebs Jr., 25, Colonial Drive, Salem, cited with OVI first offense.

Emily S. Noel, 20, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $400, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to one day in jail for underage consumption.

Jerry A. Wells, 44, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with three days in jail and required 30 hours community service for assault for punching Randall Joseph on June 1.

David C. Cole, 29, Washington Street, Wellsville, was fined $150, credited with 13 days served and required 40 hours community service for violating a temporary protection order after he called Amanda Merriman on April 30 and left her a voicemail message calling her derogatory names.

Joan Quinlan, 53, Warren, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from failure to obey a traffic control device.

Philip A. Crouse, 70, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, was fined $250, had his license suspended for six months, is required 30 hours of community service and sentenced to three days in jail for reckless operation amended from OVI first offense. A failure to control citation was dismissed.

Gladys A. Gromley, 54, Emerick Road, Kensington, was fined $150, credited with four days served in jail and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pushing Jessica Burkholder and tearing her shirt on June 6.

William M. Alesi III, 30, Liberty Street, Salem, was fined $150 and credited with 90 days served for resisting arrest for pulling away from police on Dec. 22, 2013.

Sharon Scherer, 64, state Route 45, Wellsville, was fined $75 for speeding.

Jenna M. Traversa, 20, Summit Street, Salem, was fined $150, sentenced three days school, placed on two years probation and ordered to perform 40 hours community service for obstructing official business.

Daniel J. Felt, 30, Lusk Lock Road, Lisbon, was fined $120, placed on one year probation and ordered to perform 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to renew registration.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, charges against Ted S. Bennett, 47, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, were dismissed so they could be presented to the grand jury. Bennett is charged with OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, OVI third offense, driving under FRA suspension and improper registration.

Dennis Dale Hayward, 60, Justison Road, East Palestine, was fined $725, had his license suspended for 180 days and was required to attend a three-day class for OVI first offense and failure to control.

Glenn Burt, 57, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was fined $725, had his license suspended for 180 days, required 25 hours community service and ordered to attend a three-day class for OVI first offense and failure to transfer a registration.

John Hamilton, 26, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $275 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and a traffic control device violation.

Daniel E. Riggs, 36, Walnut Ridge Road, Salineville, was credited with three days served in jail and fined $100 for criminal damaging for puncturing the tire of Amanda Hoskinson’s vehicle on Feb. 9. A July 22 restitution hearing was set.

Ryan Tereba, 34, Niles, was fined $160 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension, speeding and a seat belt violation.

Joseph T. Call, 57, Opal Drive, Wellsville, was fined $150, credited with two days served in jail and required 25 hours community service for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for throwing around his live-in partner Margaret Ann Curtis after they got into an argument on June 10.

Garry W. Allison, 58, Brookdale Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $150 for speeding.

LISBON – A July 10 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Marchello Deon Stokes, 28, Steubenville, charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Stokes is alleged to have had both cocaine and morphine pills in his possession on Tuesday.

Kevin M. Sibula, 27, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months, ordered to attend a three-day class and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and lighted lights required.

Greg L. Gatrell, 53, Cindy Street NE, Alliance, was fined $550, had his license suspended for six months and credited with eight days served for theft, driving under OVI suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia for a crack pipe. Gatrell and two co-defendants, Reginald Odd and Michelle Settles were responsible for taking $1,420 in merchandise from the Walmart in Salem on Feb. 24. The theft charge was amended from a felony to a misdemeanor.

Michael Gargano Jr., 42, Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $250, sentenced to two days in jail and required 25 hours community service for criminal damaging for dam-aging Shelby Sprouse’s door on Harrison Street, Lisbon.

Lee W. Miller, 22, Howell Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $250 and was sentenced to two years probation, 40 hours community service and his driver’s license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession and driving under suspension.

Cheyanne M. Steed, 18, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for unauthorized use of property amended from theft for taking two bags of balloons and a tablecloth valued at less than $5 from Family Dollar in Salem on May 30.

Donna J. May, 28, Hoffee Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for no operator’s license, amended from speeding.

Robert James Davis III, 28, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and expired tag.

Lacy Massey, 30, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $100 and required 12 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A July 10 pretrial was set for George A. Giffin, 47, Franklin Avenue, Salem, for domestic violence where he reportedly got into an argument with his half-brother, Shawn Plegge, and then pushed him and grabbed Plegge’s leg causing injury.

A Sept. 4 pretrial was set for Kylie R. Kuhns, 19, Hillcrest Circle, East Palestine, for failure to control and drug paraphernalia where she reportedly lost control of her vehicle on state Route 154 near Negley and overturned. During a vehicle inventory by the highway patrol, two glass pipes containing marijuana residue were reportedly found.

A Sept. 4 pretrial was set for Ashley D. House, 26, state Route 30, Kensington, for driving under suspension and speeding.

Fines against Matthew J. Kovach, 30, Bellaire, for driving under suspension, speeding and seat belt violations were waived.

A disorderly conduct case against Sean J. Quick, 41, Waddell Street, Leetonia, was dismissed due to his death.

Charlene M. Sias, 37, Elkton Road, Lisbon, was fined $90 for driving under suspension, failure to display invalid sticker and seat belt violation.

Brian S. Frederick, 52, Fairfield School Road, Colum-biana, was fined $250 and given 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Derrick M. Christy, 23, East School Street, Salem, was fined $280 and given 20 hours community service for speeding, fictitious license plates and no motorcycle endorsement.

April L. Richards, 40, Midland Heights, Midland, Pa., was fined $80 for speeding and no license.

Troy Hughes, 41, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $237 for public intoxication.

An Aug. 7 pretrial was set for Michael J. Hogan, 40, Depot Road, Lisbon, for domestic violence where he reportedly choked his son, Devin, punched him and hit him in the head with a pot.

Dana L. Duffield, 48, Center Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $300 and sentenced to two years probation and 25 hours community service for possession of criminal tools and criminal mischief.

Floyd G. Gilmore Jr., 36, Center Avenue, Lisbon, and Richard A. Lips, 40, Center Avenue, Lisbon, were each fined $300, sentenced to five days in jail and required 25 hours community service for possession of criminal tools and criminal trespassing after he was an accomplice while a padlock was being cut off a planet aid container May 29.

David W. McFarland, 48, Hermitage, Pa., was fined $150 for disorderly conduct for being inside the home of Shelby Congrove, refusing to leave, arguing with deputies and Congrove several times and threatening Congrove’s husband.

A July 29 pretrial was set for Harry Anderson, charged with criminal mischief for allegedly shutting off the power of his tenant’s home on Pine Hollow Road and then parking a dump truck in front of an electric panel preventing anyone from opening the electric box to turn the power back on. Anderson then allegedly threatened the tow truck driver, who came to move the truck.

An Aug. 7 pretrial was set for Oswald M. Pereira, 39, Parshal Road, Wellsville, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly making unreason-able noise in her neighbor-hood on numerous occasions.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Monday, Devaughn K. Pastore, 21, last known address East Main Street, East Palestine, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of illegal cultivation and possession of chemicals for drugs, after an active meth lab and additional chemicals and supplies needed to make meth were reportedly found inside a Dodge Durango with four people inside it on June 20.

Zackary J. Capron, 28, Woodsend Drive, Salem, was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months, was required 30 hours community service and sentenced to a three-day class for OVI first offense. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Mark J. Sodergren, 54, Grant Street, New Springfield, was fined $825, had his license suspended for 180 days, was required 40 hours community service and required three days in counseling for traffic control devices and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Shannon L. Cunning, 37, Youngstown, was fined $150, required 40 hours community service and credited with 15 days in jail for domestic violence for punching William D. Cunning, her husband in the eye and the mouth on June 15.

Mark N. Brown, 51, Pritchard Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $150, credited with nine days served in jail and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence for smacking Paige Harris in the face on June 21.

Scott A. Cunningham, 43, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and sentenced to 90 days in jail for theft for allegedly taking several brass items valued at $262 from Gray-Fin Manufacturing in Leetonia without permission.

Milton J. Gonzalez, 54, Struthers, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from a stop sign violation.

Diane Pipero, 49, Pine Lake Road, Beloit, was fined $150 for speeding.

Richard E. Martin, 18, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and credited with two days served in jail for criminal trespassing for going into the Morris Road, Lisbon, home of a family by stealthily going through a window where he had sex with a 16-year-old girl before being discovered by her mother.

John J. Magmore Sr., 42, Millrock Road, New Waterford, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle amended from a stop sign violation.

A July 3 pretrial was set for Benito M. Bernal, 23, Vine Avenue, Salem, cited with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting Rene Mejia Vicente during an argument at their home on Saturday.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Christopher D. Craft, 20, Aliquippa, Pa., charged with receiving stolen property and falsification for allegedly giving a deputy and a Ohio Department of Natural Resources officer a fake name, identifying himself as Shaquille, when he had a warrant. The receiving stolen property charge stems from Nov. 23, 2012, when Craft allegedly sold a stolen shotgun to William M. Javens for $100. A July 7 probable cause hearing was also set for Craft, who is alleged to have violated his probation on two counts of assault from 2011.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Anthony R. Ensell, 34, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, cited with domestic violence for allegedly flung open the freezer door, striking his wife Randi Ensell in the face, punched her in the face, grabbed her by the throat and held her over a banister. He also reported punched out the glass storm door window.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Nicholas J. Edwards, 24, Sharp Street, Salem, cited with open container in a motor vehicle and criminal damaging for allegedly punching a hole through a window in a front door of a home on East Third Street in Salem on Friday while he was intoxicated.

A July 7 pretrial was set for Aaron L. Plummer, 43, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and domestic violence for allegedly dragging the mother of his child, Ashley L. Burbick, around on the ground causing several injuries.

A violation of a temporary protection order citation against Thomas A. Barton, 30, Broadway, Wellsville, was dismissed after the protection order was dismissed prior to the alleged incident.
