WELLSVILLE (WKBN) -- A search warrant executed Friday in Wellsville put a nearby high school into a soft lockdown while an arrest was made.
The Wellsville Police Department, alongside the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office and Columbiana County Drug Task Force, completed a search at a home in the 1000 block of Commerce Street, according to a post on Facebook.
The post states that police found drug paraphernalia and narcotics within the residence and arrested Malik Pullie for an outstanding warrant.
Wellsville High School was put in a soft lockdown due to being close to the residence -- allowing students to continue learning safely during the search. The soft lockdown ensures that no one can leave or enter the school.
The Wellsville Police Department's post thanks East Liverpool, Salem and Columbiana police departments for their assistance.
Pullie's arraignment is set for Monday at 8:30 a.m. in Columbiana County Municipal Court.
