LISBON -- Thomas Lockhart, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, sustained serious injuries following an ATV accident Tuesday evening.
Police were called to state Route 154 at 11 p.m. after learning Lockhart's nephew had driven him there on their way to the Salem hospital following the accident, which occurred on Cream Ridge Road.
An ambulance was summoned to take Lockhart to Dickey Drive, where he was flown by helicopter to St. Elizabeth's in Youngstown.
The nephew stated Lockhart had been drinking all day while working around the house but he was able to call him after he crashed.
