An Elkrun Township snow plow was struck by a dump truck about noon Friday near the Lisbon BP station on state Route 154, with the accident closing the road for nearly an hour. Snow plow driver Chris Beaver, 44, was heading west when an Acme dump truck driven by Edward Zaremba, 54, of Youngstown, went left of center. The dump truck clipped the plow and continued down the side of the snow plow, scraping both vehicles and causing significant damage. Zaremba was cited for driving left of center, while Beaver was later taken by family to a local emergency room to be examined.
