Two injured in accident

LISBON -- Eva Sattler, 71, of East Palestine was transported by KLG Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown following a two vehicle crash on state Route 517 shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Her passenger, 19-year-old McKenna Sattler of East Palestine was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman by her mother.
According to patrol trooper Steve Tucci, Eva Sattler had to be extricated from from her 2005 Buick LaCrosse by Lisbon firefighters who were assisted by Columbiana firefighters.
Tucci said Sattler was eastbound on Route 517 when she was struck by Anthony Adams, 41, of Lisbon who was traveling westbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox and crossed over the center line. Adams was cited for going left of center.
Route 517 was closed down for a short period of time with the help of ODOT while emergency personnel took care of the victims and the crash was being investigated and cleaned up.
Trooper Tucci was assisted at the scene by trooper Jodi Bowlen.
