Leetonia gas leak cleared, residents returned home

LEETONIA (WKBN) – Right now, workers with Columbia are going door to door attempting to restore service to homes. Columbia now needs to go into each home and business to perform a safety check. The scene was cleared nine hours later, and residents have returned home after a gas leak in Leetonia forced evacuations in the area of Lisbon and Somer streets on Wednesday afternoon. Police release footage of a person of interest in the killing of an Ohio couple

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Authorities have released security footage of a person of interest in the killing of an Ohio couple who were found shot to death in their home last week. Police in Columbus found Dr. Spencer Tepe, a 37-year-old dentist, and Monique Tepe, 39, with gunshot wounds on the second floor of their home at about 10 a.m. on Dec. 30 after officers were asked to conduct a wellness check, authorities said.
