Roach doubles up wins

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — East Liverpool senior Maddox Roach is always ahead of the pack. Roach ran away with victories in the 800 and 1600 meters at the St. Clairsville Coach Dave Porterfield Invitational on Friday. Roach won the 800 meters by 3 1/2 seconds with a personal-best time of 1:56.26 after winning the 1600 meters by 17 1/2 seconds in a season-best 4:23.87.
