EAST PALESTINE — Saturday belonged to the Salem track teams. The Salem boys and girls swept team titles at the William E. Ward and East Plaestine Girls Invitational on Saturday at Reid Stadium. The Quakers boys edged Bedford, 86-82, while the Salem girls totaled 119 points to outdistance second-place McDonald with 69. Brown hits hole-in-one BELOIT — Gig Brown of East Liverpool hit his first hole-in-one Saturday during the West Branch Alumni Association Chili Open at Westville Lake Country Club He used a 9-iron to ace the 130-yard sixth hole.
