Potters, Beavers put themselves in good position

NEW CONCORD — East Liverpool senior Kailyn Kirby did not clear a height on Thursday in the Div. III regional girls high jump final at Muskingum University. Kirby was the only East Liverpool or Beaver Local athlete competing in a final on Thursday. East Liverpool's Meshach Harris (110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles) and Loyd Hendershot (400) advanced out of the prelims to Saturday's finals.
