NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. — Beaver Local junior Peyton Dunn scored three goals and passed her father as the Beavers blanked Oak Glen, 4-0, in girls soccer action Tuesday. Dunn scored her 112th goal to pass her father, Shawn Dunn, a 2005 graduate who set the boys scoring record. Emily Milner rounded out the scoring for the Beavers. HANOVERTON — United junior Rileah Phillips had four aces and 24 assists, including the 1,000th of her career, as the Eagles swept Southern, 25-14, 25-20, 25-7, in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play Tuesday. Warrick, Beavers capture Suburban League

EAST PALESTINE — Beaver Local senior Luke Warrick and Springfield sophomore Alexandria Fiumara won their races in a Suburban League cross country opener Tuesday at East Palestine City Park. Warrick finished the 3.1-mile course in 18 minutes, 21 seconds. He was 1:23 ahead of second-place Christopher Miller of East Liverpool.
