EAST PALESTINE — Senior Lacey Cameron and the Oak Glen girls topped the 2026 East Palestine Rotary Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Cameron won the girls race as she led the Golden Bears to the team title with 27 points. The Golden Bears had five of the top nine runners. Cameron was first in 22 minutes, 5.06 seconds on the 3.1-mile course at East Palestine City Park. CUYAHOGA FALLS — Salem sophomore Addison Hopple finished sixth and junior Alex Rea was 14th at the Pat Ritchie Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Rea had a personal-best 16 minutes, 48.57 seconds on the 3.1-mile course at Walsh Jesuit High School. The top five runners for the Salem boys ran 17:30 or better as they finished third out of 19 teams with 116 points.
