BOARDMAN -- Salem’s boys and girls teams scored top 10 finishes in Div. II on Saturday at the Boardman Spartan Invitational cross country meet.
The Quaker boys were sixth with Luke Stephens leading the way by finishing 12th (16:46).
The Quaker girls were eight and were led by Addison Hopple’s fourth-place showing (18:59).
In Div. III boys action, Beaver Local’s Luke Warrick continued his strong season by taking third overall (16:34).
Minerva’s girls won the Div. III team title with three Lions recording top 10 finishes.
In middle school action, Beaver Local 7th grader Samantha Williams won the Div. III/IV race in a course record 11:42.
