WELLSVILLE -- Wellsville won its fourth match in a row by downing Leetona, 25-22, 27-25, 26-24, Wednesday.
Wellsville improves to 5-6 and will play at Toronto on Monday.
Leetonia has won one game all season and drops to 0-11 overall. The Bears will host Cardinal today.
WEST BRANCH 3, SALEM 1
BELOIT -- West Branch collected its ninth straight victory by holding off Salem, 25-22, 25-21, 32-34, 29-27, in Eastern Buckeye Conference play Tuesday.
The Warriors are 10-3 overall and 5-0 in the EBC, one game ahead of Salem and two ahead of Marlington. They will host Marlington today.
Salem lost its second in a row to move to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the EBC. Abby Knickerbocker led the Quakers with 36 kills and six blocks.
West Branch had 111 points in the four games compared to 104 for Salem.
The Quakers will play at Minerva today.
