Quakers score seven on Hubbard

SALEM -- Salem’s boys soccer team scored five goals in the second half to pull away for a 7-3 victory over Hubbard on Saturday.
Max Zacharias led the Quakers with four goals and an assist, while Emeric Callahan added a goal and an assist. Ronin Sutter also scored a goal and had an assist, and Jake Davis added a goal.
Alex Rea had two assists and Jackson Cranmer added one assist. Conner Plunkett made two saves for Salem.
The Quakers return to action today against Alliance in an Eastern Buckeye Conference matchup at Sebo Stadium.
CRESTVIEW 2, PYMATUNING VALLEY 0
COLUMBIANA -- Crestview’s boys soccer team shut out Pymatuning Valley 2-0 on Saturday.
Carson Barber and Danny Novak scored for the 5-1 Rebels, with Novak adding an assist. Riley Mercer made six saves to preserve the shutout.
Crestview returns to action at Jackson-Milton.
CRESTVIEW 5, PYMATUNING VALLEY 0
COLUMBIANA -- Crestview’s girls soccer team posted a 5-0 shutout of Pymatuning Valley on Saturday.
Shelby Wellman scored three goals for the Rebels, while Maddie Long and Sydni Kiehl each added a goal. Clarice Harroff made three saves in goal for Crestview, 5-3.
The Rebels return to action at Jackson-Milton.
UNITED 3, STEUB. C.C. 1
HANOVERTON -- Ellianna Powers had two goals in United’s 3-1 girls soccer win over Steubenville Central on Saturday.
Charlie Koons had the other goal. Zariah Perez had an assist. Cheyenne Chuck had nine saves in goal.
United is 6-0 and is at Rootstown today.
OAK GLEN 5, COLUMBIANA 1
NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. -- Oak Glen’s girls soccer team solved Columbiana with a 5-1 win on Saturday.
Angelina Polly had three goals for the Bears. Kendall Krzys and Bailey Watts also scored. Krzys added two assists. Brianna Polly had one assist.
Oak Glen is 5-1, while Columbiana dropped to 2-1-1. Annah Clemmer scored for the Clippers.
Oak Glen is at St. Clairsville on Tuesday. Columbiana is at United on Wednesday.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. -- Oak Glen’s boys soccer team beat Parkersburg Catholic 4-1 on Saturday.
Oak Glen is 1-2 on the season. The Golden Bears are at Weir on Monday morning.
