NEWTON FALLS -- Columbiana’s girls soccer team was a 13-0 winner over Newton Falls on Saturday.
Camille Jeffries and Josie Hepler had three goals each for the Clippers. Aubrie Quetot and Kendra Brown also scored two goals each. Shayla Schmidt, Karli Martin and Larah Chamberlain scored single goals.
The Clippers (6-2-1) are at United today for an OVAC semifinal.
OAK GLEN 8, WILLIAMSTOWN 1
NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. -- Oak Glen’s girls soccer team topped Williamstown 8-1 on Saturday.
Kendall Krzys had five goals for the Bears. Bailey Watts added three goals and four assists. Amelia Kampmeyer had two assists. Brianna Polly and Angelina Polly had an assist each. Camryn Richards had two saves.
Oak Glen is 8-4 and is at St. Clairsville today for an OVAC Class 4A game.
WEST BRANCH 2, DOVER 1
BELOIT -- Dan Martucci and Mason Thomas scored to lead West Branch to a 2-1 win over Dover on Saturday.
Lance Myers had seven saves for West Branch.
West Branch is 7-2 and will be at Alliance on Tuesday.
