LISBON -- Lisbon senior Gionna Lenigar had 13 kills, three solo blocks and four aces in lifting the Blue Devils over Lowellville, 18-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-23, Wednesday.
Lilly Lipply contributed seven kills and five digs, Alayna Househoulder six kills and three aces, Hannah Davis 19 digs, Ariel Smith nine digs and three aces, Aria Reckner nine digs, Addison Anderson eight digs and five kills and Bridget Newbold 19 assists and 13 digs.
Lisbon also won the junior varsity match, 25-15, 25-21. Ella Cochran had eight assist and three kills for the Blue Devils. Carrie Hager and Sydney Tremnel each had three kills.
On Tuesday, the Lisbon JVs beat Southern, 21-25, 25-15, 25-11.
CRESTVIEW 3, MCDONALD 2
MCDONALD -- Bella Ciapala totaled 27 kills and three blocks to power Crestview past McDonald, 30-28, 17-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-9, Wednesday.
The Rebels improve to 5-1 overall.
Sophia Noling collected 12 kills and three aces, Madi Kyser eight kills and four blocks, Kerrigan Miller four aces and 32 digs, Addison Wendell 24 assists, two aces and seven digs, Phiatra Bradley eight kills and two blocks, Sarah Hively six kills and four blocks, Cam Davidson 22 assists and Addison Finch 10 assists and 11 digs.
Crestview also won the junior varsity match, 25-11, 25-17. For the Rebels, Makenna Ray had two aces, 11 digs and three kills and Jewlnetta Bradley two aces, six digs and five kills.
Crestview will play at Newton Falls today.
EAST PALESTINE 3, SOUTHERN 0
SALINEVILLE -- East Palestine finished off Southern Local on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs won 25-22, 25-14, 25-22 in the completion of a match that was suspended due to a power outage last Thursday. East Palestine won the first game and was leading 5-1 in the second when the power went out.
East Palestine improves to 8-2 and 4-0 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference. Columbiana is the only other league unbeaten at 5-0.
Southern drops to 2-5 and 2-3 in league play.
Topping the Bulldogs were Destiney Burtyk with 13 kills, 11 digs, 11 points and five aces; Kennedy Andre 15 assists, 11 points, three aces and eight digs; Marley Blythe eight kills and 15 digs; Jacklyn Ogle 11 digs; and Aubrey Oltmann seven points and three aces.
Southern leaders were Katie Kellogg with 10 points 3 aces 22 attacks 6 kills 7 digs
Natalia Lopez eight points and seven kills, Kiah Sloan three blocks, Kalayah Crute six kills and Eliana Forbes and Delaney Beadnell each had eight assists.
Both teams play today as East Palestine visits United and Southern travels to Valley Christian.
COLUMBIANA 3, JACKSON-MILTON 0
COLUMBIANA -- Columbiana improved to 8-0 by sweeping Jackson-Milton, 25-16, 25-23, 25-15, Wednesday.
Eva Waller totaled 16 points, 27 assists and four digs and Addisyn Dangler had 10 points and 10 kills for the Clippers. Landry Smith had nine points and seven kills, Keagan Pruitt eight kills and four digs and Ava Marks four points, five kills and five digs.
Columbiana also won the junior varsity match, 25-10, 25-17. Briley Schmidt had seven aces, Sylvia Rapp three aces, four kills and four digs, Annabelle Church four assists and Sydney Schorejs three kills.
Columbiana will play at East Palestine on Tuesday in a battle of Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference unbeaten.
