CALCUTTA -- Beaver Local defeated Oak Glen 141-160 in boys golf Tuesday at Beaver Creek Meadows.
Andre Wiegand fired a career-best 32 to lead the Beavers, followed by Eli Stewart with a 34, Brady McNear 37 and Britton Hickman 38. Nathan Pusateri shot 40 and Landon Wheatley 51.
Beaver Local improved to 12-2. The Beavers will host Austintown Fitch on Sept. 9 at Beaver Creek Meadows.
CRESTVIEW 184, NEWTON FALLS 210
NEWTON FALLS -- Crestview defeated Newton Falls 184-210 in a boys golf match Wednesday at Riverview Golf Course.
Grant Snyder led Crestview with a 41, followed by Derek Duvall with a 45, Logan Neff 47 and Karl Wilhelm 51.
Newton Falls was led by Cruz Marquette with a 46. Gavin Grunder shot 48, Landon Hall 54 and Zander Fitzgibbon 62.
Crestview will face East Liverpool Christian on Tuesday at Historic Highlands Golf Course.
MINERVA 157, ALLIANCE 213
MINERVA -- Minerva’s girls golf team beat Alliance 157-213 on Wednesday at Great Trail.
The team score was a Great Trail school record down from 164 last season.
For the Lions, Peyton Beaumariage had a 35, Emery Sell 37, Delaney Sell 41 and Savanna Bartley 44.
It was the last regular season match for the Lions who are 16-0.
Minerva will play in the Phipps Foundation Invitational on Tuesday at Congress Lake.
